Biography
Dr Joanna Pearce is a Lecturer in Tourism and Hospitality Management within the School of Business and Law. Joanna has previously worked in environmental departments both in Western Australian and Victoria before undertaking her PhD in 2009. Following completion of her studies, Joanna was employed as a Research Fellow and taught in environmental sustainability and nature-based tourism at Murdoch University and Notre Dame University.
Research Interest
Joanna’s research interests focus on affective relationships visitors form in tourism and hospitality environments such as place attachment, satisfaction and loyalty. Nature-based and ecotourism, Place attachment, Loyalty and satisfaction, Pro-environmental behaviours, Social values.
