Biography
Mark has worked for Edith Cowan University (ECU) in all of its previous forms for over 33 years in the area of quantitative and statistical analysis in economics & finance. Prior to working at ECU, Mark was the Departmental Research Assistant to Professors Tisdell, Johns and Gordon at the University of Newcastle. He then spent two years as the Research Assistant to the Small Firm Research Group (Johns, Dunlop, Sheehan and Lamb) at the University of Newcastle, whilst lecturing in Introductory Quantitative Methods at Newcastle. Mark’s lecturing duties include both under-graduate and post-graduate units in the fields of Business Statistics, Quantitative Economics and Finance, Management Science, Decision Support and Quantitative Methods. He has also been a major contributor to both the ECU Winter and Summer Schools.
