Biography

Previously a senior project manager experienced in major remediation projects including thermal treatment, now providing technical assistance for project delivery as well as tender preparation. Managed delivery of environmental and civil engineering projects to completion and client satisfaction. Achievements: Remediation of a public park by onsite encapsulation of approximately 8,000 cubic metres of asbestos contaminated soil. Associated civil works included construction of a stormwater channel and laying stormwater pipes and pits. Remediation of a shopping centre site contaminated by TCE and PCE (from dry cleaning activities) by excavation and removal. Half of the shopping centre required demolition while the other half continued trading throughout the project. Remediation of an asbestos-impacted development site by spreading and hand picking. Construction of a 130m noise wall and combined heavy vehicle/conveyor bridge as preliminary works for a regional distribution centre.
