Aidan Smith

Biography

Aidan is a highly experienced practitioner who began his career in Glasgow in 1995, before joining the team at HLB Mann Judd in 1998 and becoming a partner in the Audit and Corporate Advisory Division in 2007. Aidan has extensive audit experience in a wide range of businesses, and specialises in providing audit and accounting services to not-for-profits. In addition, Aidan has a wide variety of other clients covering private companies, listed entities and subsidiaries of overseas corporations with turnover from $1m to over $200m, and in industries including manufacturers, retailers and computer software developers. He also has experience in fraud investigations and due diligence assignments. Aidan is highly respected for his knowledge of Accounting and Auditing Standards, has provided advice on Accounting Standards to many of his clients, and has given a number of presentations on accounting technical issues.
