Scott Smith

Biography

 Scott Smith graduated in 1992 and completed his Masters degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 1999. Since setting up the state-of-the-art Flex Rehabilitation Clinic in 2006, he has overseen the growth of the business to now include 4 practices and the Aged Care and Community arm of the business, Flex Care. In his nearly 25 years of clinical practice, Scott has developed special interests in the management of sports specific shoulder injuries, spinal problems, hip/groin/pelvis injuries, Pilates and orthopaedic rehabilitation. His passion for sport is evident through his current and recent roles across many different teams and organisations. Currently, Scott is physiotherapist for the Adelaide Thunderbirds Netball team, Australia’s Fast 5 Netball program and Tennis Australia’s National High Performance Academy. He has also held recent positions with the Adelaide Lightning Women's Basketball team, the Australian Women's Lacrosse Team and has an extended relationship at Sturt Football Club over nearly 20 years. A passion for the complete rehabilitation of the individual has helped Scott develop strong professional relationships with a number of orthopaedic and neurosurgical specialists in Adelaide and he has been a regular lecturer in the post-graduate physiotherapy program at the University of South Australia. Scott is currently working at our Norwood clinic.
