Biography
Mr Lilleyman joined Fortescue as Director Operations in January 2017. Before joining Fortescue, Mr Lilleyman spent 28 years in various operational and senior executive positions in the mining sector, where his leadership was instrumental in driving significant operational and productivity improvements across large-scale mining operations. His experience included accountability for development and construction of significant mining projects across Africa, Asia, North and South America and Australia. He has a passion for technology and innovation and extensive experience in leading safety and operational excellence. Mr Lilleyman holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Construction Engineering) and completed the Advanced Management Program at the Wharton Business School and Vincent Fairfax Fellowship in Ethical Leadership at the University of Melbourne. He is a White Ribbon Ambassador.
