Tee Lim

Biography

 Tee completed his undergraduate medical degree at Monash University in Melbourne. He moved to Western Australia to continue his medical training and then his specialist training in radiation oncology, and became a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2005. After completing a clinical fellowship at Perth Radiation Oncology, Tee went on to complete a further clinical research fellowship in genitourinary oncology, incorporating low dose radiation (LDR) and high dose radiation (HDR) prostate brachytherapy as well as image-guided radiotherapy (IGRT), at Sunnybrook’s Odette Cancer Centre (Toronto, Canada), the University of California San Francisco Medical Centre, and the Seattle Prostate Institute. Tee is a member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR), the Trans Tasman Radiation Oncology Group (TROG), the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), the European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology (ESTRO) and the Australia and New Zealand Urogenital and Prostate Cancer Trials Group (ANZUP). He has written or been an investigator in nine published papers and 13 abstracts, and is still actively involved in clinical trials and regularly presents at scientific meetings. Tee works primarily across breast, gastro-intestinal, genitourinary and thoracic cancers. He has a keen interest in total lymphoid irradiation for cardiac transplant rejection, has written a paper on the subject, and has worked in close collaboration with the cardiac transplant team at Royal Perth Hospital and now at Fiona Stanley Hospital. He is also highly involved in stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) for primary and oligometastatic lung cancer and spinal metastases.
