Biography
Dr Chelsie O'Connor has a passion for improving patient outcomes through collaboration and the utilisation of new technologies. She studied a Bachelor of Medicine at the University of Newcastle and completed her junior doctor training at Bankstown and Campbelltown Hospitals. Through the Southern Network, she undertook Radiation Oncology training at a number of cancer centres including Liverpool, Campbelltown, Prince of Wales, St George and Wollongong. She spent her post-fellowship years at Liverpool Cancer Therapy Centre with sub-specialty training in pelvic and breast malignancies. Chelsie treats patients with breast, gynaecological, CNS and head and neck tumours. She has an interest in medical innovations and health technology and is an alumni of the Medical Devices Commercialisation Training Programme through Cicada Innovations. She is a member of the Medical Technology Association of Australia. Chelsie also has a strong interest in promotion and support of Women in STEM and is a member of Franklin Women.
