Biography
David graduated from Melbourne University in 1987, and completed his training in radiation oncology at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in 1995. He was a consultant radiation oncologist at Peter MacCallum thereafter, and Director of Peter MacCallum's satellite centre at Monash Moorabbin, before joining GenesisCare in 2006. David currently consults at GenesisCare Radiation Oncology Centre Frankston and at Peninsula Health, and will be consulting at Cabrini 2 days per week from September 2017. David's areas of special interest are prostate, lung, skin and lymphoma, but he has a general interest and experience in treating all common malignancies requiring radiation therapy. David has overseen the introduction of a number of technological advances in radiotherapy delivery at Frankston, including intensity modulated and image guided radiotherapy for prostate and other cancers, deep inspiration breath hold radiation therapy for breast cancer, and stereotactic brain and body radiotherapy.
