Darren Peter Gordon

Biography

 Darren Peter Gordon is Non-Executive Director of the Company. Mr Gordon has more than 20 years’ experience in the Australian and international resource sector, having held senior financia l, corporate and executive roles with a number of ASX - listed exploration and mining companies. During his career he has been involved in the acquisition, financing , development and operation of both iron ore and gold projects in Australia and Brazil. Mr Gordon is currently Managing Director of Centaurus Metals (ASX: CTM), a position he has held since 2009. In this role he has led the evaluation of a portfolio of iron ore projects in south - eastern Brazil including the completion of Feasibility Studies and approval work to supply a suite of high grade product s in to the domestic market. In response to the sharp fall i n iron ore prices last year, Mr Gordon implemented a successful diversification strategy for Centaurus outside of the iron ore sector. Before joining Centaurus, Mr Gordon was the Chief Financial Officer at Gindalbie Metals (ASX: GBG) for nine years. During the first half of his tenure, he was part of the team that successfully acquired, funded and developed the 50,000oz - a - year Minjar Gold Project in WA which operated successfully up until 2004 when economic reserves were depleted .
