Biography
Gerard has been with Genetics Australia since January 2014 and comes with a wealth of knowledge growing up on a dairy farm in Newbridge, Vic. Gerard maintains an active role in the farm today assisting his father to run a 200-cow herd. Gerard enjoys working with farmers to breed better cows and a more profitable herd, he likes that genetics are permanent and perpetual, however finds genetics very important for the profitability of dairy farms. Gerard has spent the past 6 years working with dairy farmers providing genetics and breeding Advice and he is an active member of the Holstein North West Sub Branch. Gerard has a passionate interest in the Holstein breed and will be working with farmers in central Goulburn Valley
