Biography
Appointed 1 October 2017, Mr Eric Redman has more than 40 years’ experience in the energy, environmental and climate sectors, focusing on CCS since 2005. He serves on the advisory boards of Scottish Carbon Capture & Storage (SCCS) and several clean energy technology companies, and is the former CEO of Summit Power Group, LLC. Mr Redman is a Senior Policy Fellow for the Deep Decarbonization Initiative (D2I) at the University of California San Diego’s School of Global Policy & Strategy, and Senior Policy Advisor for Energy & Climate with the international law firm of Davis Wright Tremaine. Mr Redman is a trustee of Phillips Academy, Andover in Massachusetts, and a director of the Northwest African American Museum. His book on Congress, “The Dance of Legislation” was a bestseller; he has also written for many newspapers, anthologies, and magazines. He is a graduate of Harvard College, Oxford University, and Harvard Law School.
