Biography
Jan joined the institute in July 2016 as General Manager – Business Development. Prior to joining the Institute, Jan spent over 12 years at CSIRO, as General Manager Commercial and General Manager Business Development and Commercial, and 12 years at the Sydney Futures Exchange, where she managed research and business analysis for market and product design projects, including that of a ‘carbon credit’ market. Jan has been a board member of a number of CSIRO spin-out companies and was a board member of Commercialisation Australia. She is also on the Investment Committee for TankStream Ventures – a Sydney based venture investing firm. Jan holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) degree, is a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (FAICD).
