John Schellhorn

Biography

John is a 33-year veteran of the Medical Device industry. Ten of those years were spent in senior expatriate assignments. Before becoming President and CEO of GKC, he served as President and CEO of Monteris Medical Corporation. Prior to joining Monteris, John served as the Chief Commercialization Officer for BÂRRX Medical, and as President and CEO of Softscope Medical Technologies Inc., both of which were successfully acquired by strategic partners during his tenure. John has held positions as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the Peripheral Vascular Division of ev3 Inc., Vice President and General Manager International for ACMI Corporation, and various management positions within Boston Scientific. John earned a B.A, Summa Cum Laude, from Long Island University and, prior to his commercial career, he served 7 years as a U.S. Marine Corps pilot.
