Biography
Ian was appointed Chairman on 28 July 2009 (having been Acting Chairman from 28 November 2008). Ian is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and has in excess of 40 years of experience in company corporate recovery and turnaround practice. Ian is also a director of a number of private and public companies. He is currently Chairman of Reckon Limited (director since August 2004) and a director of EnergyOne Limited (since January 2007). He was formerly the Chairman of InvoCare Limited and Australian Vintage Ltd (from March 1991 to May 2015). His experience is essentially concerned with understanding the financial and other issues confronting company management, analysing those issues and implementing policies and strategies which lead to success. Ian has significant experience in property and development, tourism, manufacturing, retail, hospitality and hotels, infrastructure and aviation and service industries.
