Doug Bartlett

Biography

Doug joined Grant Samuel in 1991. He has more than 30 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity and funds management. He has oversight of all significant Grant Samuel engagements and has particular expertise in public and private mergers and acquisitions, and equity capital markets transactions. His experience spans all major industry sectors relevant to the Australian market. Prior to joining Grant Samuel, Doug was an Executive Director of the Byvest Management Buyout Fund, a consultant at PCEK (now Boston Consulting Group) and an engineer in Australia and the United States. He has served as a non-executive director and/or chairman on the boards of numerous privately held industrial and funds management companies and was a founding director of both Grant Samuel Funds Management (>$6 billion FUM) and Archer Capital.
