Richard Hansen

Biography

 Richard's passion for guiding Hansen Yuncken's future is more than skin deep; as a fourth generation family member it's in his blood. His 24 years of industry experience, delivering successful projects in Singapore, Melbourne and Sydney and entrepreneurial success in establishing HY Building Solutions, has propelled him into his current role Victorian State Manager. Fostering a forward thinking culture, Richard's engagement with and fresh approach to business inspires his teams to deliver world-class facilities for our clients. Richard supports this attitude with strong technical knowledge, wide-ranging construction experience, and an adaptable, incisive and professional manner. Actively involved in the industry as Chair of the General Contractors committee at the Master Builders Association of Victoria, as well as a Director and Treasurer, Richard is highly regarded by his peers. His project management of the K2 Social Housing project earned him the national Professional Excellence Award from the Australian Institute of Building in 2007 of which he is a Fellow,  and he is and Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.  At the forefront of the industry, Richard's progressive approach and business acumen will continue to see Hansen Yuncken thrive.
