Biography
Professor Marshall is a Nobel Prize laureate for his research on Helicobacter and peptic ulcers. He holds the positions of Co-Director of The Marshall Centre for Infectious Diseases Research & Training, Clinical Professor of Microbiology (University of Western Australia) and Clinical Professor of Medicine (University of Western Australia).
Research Interest
Significant advances have been made in understanding the mechanisms of nerve damage, and the translation of basic research to clinical trials is now benefiting patients in Western Australia.
