Biography
Mr Zappelli sustained a spinal cord injury following a car accident at age 17. He is now an advocate for road safety and workplace accident prevention.
Research Interest
Significant advances have been made in understanding the mechanisms of nerve damage, and the translation of basic research to clinical trials is now benefiting patients in Western Australia.
