Biography
Rob Scott is a Chartered Accountant with over 42 years’ experience. Mr Scott was an International Partner with Arthur Andersen, retiring from that firm in 1995. Mr Scott holds a fellowship of The Australian Institute of Chartered Accountants and The Tax Institute of Australia. He is also a member of the Institute of Company Directors. Mr Scott serves on the boards of Lonestar Resources Limited, Homeloans Limited, Sandfire Resources NL and RTG Mining Inc.
Research Interest
Current research projects undertaken within the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research include the use of proteins to slow down and destroy tumours, the examination of genes that can prevent UV-induced melanoma and screening drug combinations (compound) to find a new compound with the ability to destroy melanoma cells.
