Biography

Michael is an experienced senior manager with a sound knowledge and understanding of the private and public sectors who has the ability to advise on a wide range of issues. Michael’s career began with Ernst & Young in the UK where he was responsible for managing audit and assurance engagements for some of the UK’s largest listed companies. His expertise includes external audit, IPO, due diligence and specialist assurance engagements. Michael’s experience, spanning over 10 years, has been gained with clients ranging from small owner managed businesses and start-ups to listed multinational corporations. Michael is experienced in managing cross border teams and has a background working with IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP. With a genuine interest in business, Michael’s key strengths are his strong technical knowledge and his ability to gain an understanding of key issues facing his clients and tailoring his approach accordingly. As an organized and professional Manager, he is known by his clients for always providing the highest levels of client service. He has developed a reputation for delivering practical and tailored results within strict time frames. Michael has experience working with ASX listed clients, including working on a number of IPOs for domestic and overseas businesses. He has experience participating in Due Diligence Committee meetings and preparing Independent Accountant’s Reports (IARs) for inclusion in prospectuses.
