Mr. Tee Lay Peng

Biography

Mr. Tee Lay Peng, CPA, has served as Independent Non-Executive Director at Ho Wah Genting Bhd since December 11, 2007. He is a Member of The Malaysian Association Institute of Certified Public Accountants since 1987 and a registered Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants since 1988. He is also a Certified Financial Planner registered with the Financial Planning Association of Malaysia since 2003. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Hull, London, the United Kingdom. Prior to joining the Company, he was an Independent and Non-Executive Director of DPS Resources Berhad and also the Chairman of its Audit Committee and Risk Management Committee. He has more than 16 years of experience in the financial services industry and practicing in accounting, auditing, financial and management accounting, management system design and enterprise resources planning and set-up his own consulting firm providing financial and management advisory services since 1995. He also holds position as financial controller/corporate advisor in various non-listed companies. He is the Chairman of Company's Audit Committee and a Member of Nomination and Remuneration Committees.
