Biography
Christine is a research scientist at IBM Research Australia. She holds a MSc degree in Technical Chemistry with a focus on Organic Chemistry and Technology from the Vienna University of Technology – TU Wien (2004) and a PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from The University of Melbourne (2008). Her PhD focused on the cell signalling of inositol phospholipids. During 2009-2012 she was a postdoctoral fellow at the Florey Neuroscience Institute and the Bio21 Institute/The University of Melbourne. Christine is a research scientist at IBM Research Australia. Research Interest
Her research interests range from life sciences to healthcare and include the synthesis of biologically active molecules, nanotechnology applications for drug discovery and diagnostic applications, medicinal chemistry and material science. Christine has a strong interest in the drug development process and gained pharmaceutical industry experience working at Boehringer-Ingelheim, Austria.
