Biography
Stefan von Cavallar is currently a technical lead of the Population Health team at IBM Research - Australia. In this role he is building upon previous work for the development of innovative systems and analytics for population health insights and prediction. This work involves full stack software development - from discrete analytics through to deployed services and infrastructure operating on large data sets. Since joining IBM Research in 2014, Stefan has worked on projects in skin disease, eye analytics, resource optimization for healthcare and transport, social multimodal transport, genomics and population health. This has involved working with various teams throughout the lab to develop technically compelling software solutions to both drive and showcase the labs research.
