Alex Gonzalez

Biography

Alex Gonzalez is Vice President of International Operations and has held this position since inception of the Company. Mr. Gonzalez was key in the development of the initial international medical tourism model for HIFU and is now responsible for international device sales, oversight of the physician development team and new business development for the Company. Leveraging his expertise and worldwide relationships in the minimally invasive ablative space, he has built a strong global distribution network that currently has the Company's products represented in over 24 countries. Additionally, he also oversees the nursing and clinical applications/biomedical engineering departments within the organization. Having worked closely with the Ministries of Health of over a dozen countries and having successfully gained approval for the HIFU technology in North, Latin/South America, he is also a key member of the regulatory submission team. Mr. Gonzalez has been in the healthcare field for over 17 years and can call on additional expertise in orthopedics and rehabilitation. Mr. Gonzalez has a Masters Degree in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Sciences from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
