David Lindsay

Biography

David Lindsay have a number of postgraduate degrees including a PhD, the title of which was “Exploring the roles of Nurse Practitioners in Fiji: a critical social theory perspective”. He remain interested in Nurse Practitioner (NP) roles and have been involved in the development and coordination of the Master of Nursing (NP) within the School of Nursing at JCU.David Lindsay have a number of postgraduate degrees including a PhD, the title of which was “Exploring the roles of Nurse Practitioners in Fiji: a critical social theory perspective”. Research Interest

Prevalence within and impact upon the health workforce of long term conditions (chronic diseases), rural health and rural nursing, and Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Nursing roles in rural areas and developing countries. My professional goals are to increase my research and scholarly outputs, improve my teaching, and gain experience in supervising higher degree students to successful completion.
