Biography

Kernow operates in the Environmental Health and Public Health industry with clients ranging from large metropolitan Councils to smaller, rural municipalities across Australia. Kernow is Australia's largest private provider of Environmental Health and Immunisation services to Local Government and continues to expand each year. With Councils undergoing significant belt tightening with rate capping and a drive for better services, Kernow has become a preferred option. In May 2013, we launched our Environmental Health support tool - RIAMS (Regulatory Information And Management System) to Victoria - see www.riamsau.org. RIAMS is a one stop shop for Regulatory Service professionals for procedures, policies, guidelines, legislation ... everything. Since launch, RIAMS has gone from strength to strength and is considered an essential tool for all Local Councils. The positive response to the cloud based system has seen Kernow's development of RIAMS spread across Australia with RIAMS NSW and RIAMS TAS launched, and a number of other States in discussion. Further to this, Kernow partnered with a large Victorian Council in 2014 to develop RIAMS for Local Laws professionals. RIAMS Local Laws continues to drive consistency and support for Local Laws Officers and is viewed as an essential tool for all Councils. A separate arm to our local operations is EHO Recruiters Australia - a specialist recruitment agency focusing on providing Environmental Health Officers to Local Government. This agency has been designed to provide a network of the best EHO applicants from within Australia and overseas. Specialties: Provision of Environmental Health and Public Health services at a Local Government level, development of public health frameworkss, consulting and strategic development in public policy and planning, new business development and initiatives both locally and overseas, recruitment and development of EHOs.
