Biography

Sixteen years experience working in the waste management and resource recovery sector for government, associations and the private sector. career has been focussed on creating change through communication, collaboration, education and marketing and then helping people and organisations lock in that change through good project management, training and documentation of systems. Enjoy understanding the big picture and creating connections that build business while achieving environmental outcomes. Experience in forming and operating industry and professional associations, running a small business, providing services and advice to government and industry, and working with (and within) state and local government. Specialties: Management (project and personnel); recycling systems; environmental education; collection, storage and analysis of materials flow and infrastructure information relating to the waste management and resource recovery sector; communications including technical writing; public speaking and facilitation of meetings and workshops.
