Biography

  Con Moshegov - MBBS (SYD), FRANZCO, FRACS Dr Con Moshegov is a refractive laser and cataract surgeon. His expertise is assisting people to enjoy better vision without the use of glasses and contact lenses. This includes those who have increasing difficulty reading at close range without glasses. Dr Moshegov studied Medicine at the University of Sydney and trained in Ophthalmology at the Sydney Eye Hospital before undertaking advanced Fellowship training in corneal and refractive surgery in East Grinstead, West Sussex, England. He has been a VMO at Concord Hospital in Sydney, including a final role as Head of the Department of Ophthalmology. He has also been a consultant refractive surgeon for LASERSIGHT, the Medical Director of Perfect Vision Laser Correction Centres and the Macquarie Street Eye Laser Centre. He is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Technology, Sydney. Dr Moshegov has published numerous articles in internationally recognized ophthalmic journals. He has presented his work at both local and international meetings and has lectured in England, France, Japan, China, Vietnam, Canada and the United States. His rooms and laser suite are in George Street, Sydney CBD though he also consults in Hornsby on Sydney’s Upper North Shore.
