Biography
QUALIFICATIONS Ph.D Biomedical Sciences (University of South Australia), Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (University of South Australia) and Fellow of the Australian Society for Microbiology (FASM). EXPERIENCE Steven has more than 20 years’ experience in microbiology, and has been instrumental in the development of new and rapid technologies. He has led several large infectious diseases laboratories and has guided the implementation of automated systems and workflows into high-throughput laboratories. At LBT, Steven is responsible for the scientific strategy and ongoing management across a variety of projects, as well as representing the company as a domain expert in professional forums. He also acts as an interface between industry and research activities in order to explore and foster commercial activities. In his spare time, you are likely to find Steve fishing, listening to live music, or enjoying the great outdoors.
