Biography
Tom Cosic is a software engineer and program manager who has led the development of a number of bioanalytical instruments and robotic technologies used in cutting-edge medical research. Over the past 10 years, Tom has been based in Melbourne, working for Melbourne software company Hydrix and the design engineering firm Invetech, where he led teams of up to 50 people in the delivery of FDA-approved in vitro diagnostic devices. Tom is well versed in LBT’s core APAS® technology, having coordinated the commercial development of the ground-breaking plate-screening technology at Hydrix in 2013-14. He is now in charge of overseeing the APAS development program for our company, including product innovations and line extensions with the capability to extend the technology’s reach and relevance in the global marketplace.
