Biography
Michael was appointed Chief People Officer in May 2017 and is based in Sydney, Australia. Michael is responsible for all aspects of Global HR including compensation and benefits, learning and development, talent management and recruitment. He is also responsible for driving the HR strategy and works extensively with the Global Leadership Team and the Lendlease Board. Prior to joining Lendlease, Michael spent 18 years with Hewlett Packard where he held a number of senior HR executive positions in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong and the USA. Michael had been instrumental in defining and supporting several business transformations and has led several merger activities. Michael majored in Accounting and Economics at Melbourne University. He has a Post graduate qualification in Economics and has an Advanced Management Degree from Wharton University. Michael has also completed a Master in Laws focusing on Dispute Resolution and is currently completing a Masters in International Relations at the University of New South Wales. He is also an active member in the Australian Human Resource Institute and Corporate Leadership Council.
