Andrew Gaffey

Biography

 At various times in the past 28 years Andrew has worked for the Universities of South Australia and Hong Kong, owned and operated three physiotherapy clinics and managed a restaurant. Andrew has a Bachelor of Applied Science in Physiotherapy, a Graduate Diploma in Orthopaedic Physiotherapy, and a Masters of Applied Science in Orthopaedic Physiotherapy. Andrew is particularly interested in the treatment of difficult spinal conditions and managing recovery from spinal surgery. As an ageing athlete, Andrew is sensitive to the needs of the older sportsperson and has some novel methods to assist recovery from injury. Andrew is enrolled as a remote student in a Higher Degree by Research at the Joanna Briggs Institute (Adelaide University) and is at present researching Dietary Influences in Pain.
