Biography
Peter West joined Lion in January 2014 and has extensive experience in the food and snack industries both locally in Australia and overseas. Prior to joining Lion, Peter was living in Brussels and working as President for the Mars chocolate business in Continental Europe, a position he had held since 2010. Peter first joined Mars in 1988 and worked in a variety of Sales and Marketing roles in their pet food and confectionary businesses over 11 years. He then joined Campbell Arnott’s in 1999 as VP – Marketing for Arnott’s Biscuits in Australia and New Zealand. He was subsequently promoted to General Manager of that business in 2002. Peter re-joined Mars in 2005 as GM of their Snackfood business in Australia and Global Brand Leader for Snickers.
