er-Vanniasinkam is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon and Founding Professor of Surgery in the UK National Health Service. Her career in clinical, translational and basic research spans almost three decades, with a focus on cellular and molecular pathophysiology. She has extensive experience of in vivo and in vitro models of human disease and has established a number of intra- and extra-mural collaborations in these areas.
