Biography
Dr Jason Ryan is a Senior Bioprocessing scientist at LuinaBio joining in 2016. Previously Jason was a Principal Scientist at Callaghan Innovation, New Zealand. His field of expertise is in fermentation and has been responsible for the development and optimization of fermentation systems for recombinant E.coli, fungi, yeasts, marine microorganisms, extremophiles, bacteriophage and anaerobes.Jason has over 20 peer reviewed publications on design of experiment, scale up and metabolite production optimization. Jason has a Bachelor of Science in biotechnology from Griffith university, a Master of Philosophy in Biotechnology from Massey University. In 2012, he was awarded a Ph.D in Chemical and Process Engineering from Canterbury University, New Zealand
