Biography
I hold a PhD in Politics from Macquarie University and the University of Leipzig, Germany (2012) and hove done postdoctoral research at the the Interuniversity Research Centre on Globalization and Work (CRIMT), Université de Montréal, Canada (2015-2016) and the Group for Research on Ethnic Relations, Migration and Equality (GERME), Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium (2016-2017). My research investigates the interplay of regulatory levels (local to global) in migration and refugee policy in a comparative perspective, with a current focus on refugees' participation in the labour market and on the governance of refugee resettlement. I have published in the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies, Refuge and WeltTrends and am the co-editor of Refugee Resettlement: Power, Politics and Humanitarian Governance (with Liliana Jubilut and Kristin Sandvik, Berghahn Books, forthcoming).
