Research Interest
I’m interested in the interaction between marine sediment and the overlying water column in the modern ocean and the implications of this interaction on paleoclimate proxies (Check out my paper in Geology and the GEOTRACES science highlight here). My current project includes examining the diagenetic mechanism(s) behind the release of rare earth elements from the sediments in the North Pacific Ocean (blog post here and paper in EPSL).
