Biography
Brett Peppler is a professional intelligence officer with almost 40 years of practical experience in the strategic planning, intelligence, futures, and risk domains both in Australia and overseas. He is an accomplished and innovative educator, trainer, consultant, futurist, manager, analyst, and facilitator, specialising in scenario-based strategic planning, especially in policy settings. Previously, while in academia, Brett developed the first, fully-articulated post-graduate qualifications for intelligence in Australia, developed and delivered units for post-graduate and advanced degree programs for universities in Australia and overseas, as well as short professional programs for public and private sector executives.
Research Interest
Decision-making under uncertainty, with an emphasis on blending foresight methods. Intelligence practices, with an emphasis on innovation through cross-disciplinary approaches. Gaming and simulation, with an emphasis on enriching the design of intelligence education.
