Biography

I am a Registered Psychologist, Member of the APS, Being NSW and the ANZMHA. I am currently working for St Vincent's Mental Health and At Full Potential. My last employment was in a dual case management and acute clinician role. I work closely in a multidisciplinary team; perform mental health assessments in the community as part of the Crisis Team or in the Emergency Department. I am also employed and work as a independent Psychologist working for a Private Practice in Camden, NSW. I provide private services to the general population through direct presentation, gp referral or other health professionals. I was previously employed at Psychmatters, a private psychological practice and St Vincent's Hospital as a Alcohol and Drug Counsellor. I have previously worked as a ABA therapist, Respite Carer, Volunteer Researcher, and APA Editor and Provisional Psychologist for Quovus Pty Ltd. I have complete a Undergraduate Bachelor of Psychology and Postgraduate Diploma of Professional Psychology and aim to continue my education in Clinical Psychology. I am a Member of the Australian Psychological Society, I am also a member of ARAFMI NSW, Mental Health Association, and Consumers Advisory Group. I am under review for a student membership of the Australasian Professional Society on Alcohol and other drugs (APSAD). From years of training and experience I have learnt how to analyse, review, and critique, whilst using these skills in my every day life. Gaining valuable counselling skills through lifeline and St Vincent's Hospital has increased my awareness of current issues and increased my interest of mental health and drug use. My Interests include: Child and Adolescent Therapy, Family and Group Therapy, and AOD Skills in therapy include: ABA; CBT; Narrative; General Counselling; Alcohol and other Drugs Counselling (AOD); and Play therapy.
