Biography
Prior to her PhD and current role, Amina Tariq was serving as full-time lecturer at National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences (NUCES), Pakistan. She completed her MSc in Business Information Systems with distinction from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, UK in 2007. She completed her PhD at the Centre for Health Systems and Safety Research in 2013. Her doctorate research focused on examining information exchange processes that underpin medication management processes in residential aged care facilities in Australia. Upon completion of her PhD, Amina joined the Centre for Health Systems and Safety Research as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Her research dimensions include design of e-health systems for collaborative health care environments like residential aged care, implications of technology on healthcare providers work practices and analysing complex workflow (s) in healthcare organization using process modelling techniques.
