Honarary Fellow in the Department of Politics, University of Bristol , United Kingdom.
Research Interest
Subaltern Movements in the Arab World, the role of the Arab (mainly but not only) secular intellectuals, the politics of the Arab media, the processes of democratization and de-liberalization in the Arab World (especially Egypt and Morocco), the trajectories of radicalization, and the formation of new Islamic identities in the Muslim diasporas across the world.
