Biography
Lise studied anthropology and international relations at University College London and the Brussels School of International Studies, Kent University, UK. Her postgraduate work focused on issues of securitzation, identity and immigration. Before joining SSC, Lise worked for the Ministry of Defence and Home Office, UK. Her work focused on the application of socio-cultural analysis to issues of defence and security. Lise's current research includes an ongoing program examining and assessing Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) internationally and in Australia; an examination of the relationship between the offline and online violent extremist environments.
