Biography
Mikaela is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Health Systems and Safety Research at AIHI. She has a background in speech pathology and community aged care and is involved in a program of research investigating innovative models for using data analytics to assess and improve the outcomes of community and aged care services. Mikaela completed her PhD in 2014 while working as a research officer with the Cancer Epidemiology and Services Research group at the University of Sydney. She has applied her expertise linking health datasets to examine the care and outcomes of older adults across healthcare settings.
