Biography
Victoria's major research focus is the representation of gendered bodies in children's literature and film - particularly in relation to the representation of transgressive gender behaviours such as cross-dressing and the depiction of queered subjectivities. She is also interested in the application of posthumanism to children's texts. Victoria is the Program Director of the Masters in Children's Literature and also teaches children's literature at undergraduate level.
