Biography

With an emphasis on government and technology contracting and procurement, Andrew has been involved in numerous high profile, large scale commercial matters for all levels of government and the private sector. Andrew brings a strategic, measured approach to managing and documenting clients’ commercial transactions, by establishing client objectives early and delivering ideal, practical outcomes. Andrew acts for clients who are purchasing or developing complex computer solutions and software to achieve strategic and policy objectives. Andrew also advises health sector clients, including the Commonwealth Department of Health, on contracts and the application of the National Health Act 1953 (Cth). He has extensive experience advising public sector clients on all types of outsourcing arrangements and understands risk and risk mitigation strategies in Government contracts. Andrew helps clients take a practical approach to risk, where they can. Australasian Lawyer listed Andrew as a Rising Star in March 2016.
