Biography

"There are two broad areas of my professional life as a psychologist: 1. My current work role/s and philosophy. And 2. My hopeful future endeavours 1. I am passionate about psychology and enthusiastic about working to be a positive influence in people's lives. I have had a wealth of work experience in diverse backgrounds in and out of mental health. I came to academia and psychology in my late 20's. I have developed an interest in working with adolescents and adults who experience depression, anxiety and addictions problems. I am very keen on learning more about positive and coaching psychology and applying these perspectives to human development and optimising potential. I believe my qualifications, personality and life experiences; and values of empathy and genuineness combine well to help me practise as a professional psychologist. 2. I would love any opportunity to conduct presentations, seminars and/or workshops in private and public organisations, in high schools for students, teachers, parents and the business community and the for the public. I have a business very much still in its conception that I am looking to develop. My business name is PEP Talks and my vision and mission is to provide Positive, Education & Psychology Talks that aim to bring real awareness and insights on Mental (ill) Health, Psychology Education and enhancing Postive growth and experiences in our challenging world. I would love to develop networks and connections for ideas, insights, guidance and contributions. At this stage my business is a blank canvas but my motivation and passion for bringing real psychology into organisations and schools is my driving force. Watch this space!
