Biography
Axel Baur is a senior partner in our Tokyo office, having served previously in Germany and in the Middle East. Axel is the leader of McKinsey's Pharmaceutical & Medical Products Practice in Asia and also leads our healthcare work in Japan. Axel advises top management in pharmaceutical and medical product companies along their entire value chain. He has also served the broader healthcare industry, focusing on public and private health insurance as well as hospital operations.
