Shubham leads McKinsey’s global healthcare work. He serves leading healthcare institutions on all top-management agenda topics. His primary areas of focus include corporate strategy, growth strategy, M&A, business building, and large-scale performance transformation. Shubham has extensively served national and regional payors for more than 10 years. He also serves providers, healthcare IT companies, and pharmacy players. Shubham leads McKinsey’s knowledge on the future of healthcare in the wake of healthcare reform and regulatory change; the rise of the healthcare consumer; rapid advancements in digital, big data analytics, and medical technologies; and risk disaggregation and reallocation across the healthcare system. His expertise has also been key in defining the structural and performance implications of this transformation for payors, providers, and services players across the healthcare value chain.
