Biography
Dr. Carlo Secchi serves as Non-Executive Independent Director of Mediaset S.p.A. since March 22, 2011. He also serves as Chairman of the Independent Committee of the Company. Moreover, he has served as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Fiera Milano SpA since October 27, 2003. He graduated from Universita Commerciale Luigi Bocconi of Milan with a degree in Business Economics. He is Chairman of SAGSA SpA. He has been Chairman of Fiera Milano SpA since October 27, 2003. He is Honour President of the Leonardo da Vinci Science and Technology Museum in Milan and a member of the Board of Directors of ISPI and President of Pentar SpA. From 2001 to June 2005 he was President of Assolombarda (the industry association of the Province of Milan), where from 1997 to 2001 he served as President of the SME section and where, he is a member of the Board of Directors and Council. Until June 2010 he has been a member of the Board of Directors and Council of Confindustria (the confederation of Italian industry). He has been a member of the Board of Il Sole 24 Ore and of Bocconi University. He is a member of the Steering Committee of Telefono Azzurro
